New Milton & Barton

Julie Vigor

A Local Voice for Real Change in New Milton

Dear Residents of New Milton and Barton, I have been a resident of our beautiful area for over 30 years. I have raised three children all of whom are adults, who attended local schools and enjoyed the many facilities especially the forest and beach.
I have been a Local Solicitor and Senior Lecturer in Law as well as a Governor in local Seconday Schools such as Highcliffe and Priestlands. I have been involved in local activities such as the girl guides, Sunday school and helping Julia’s Hospice.
I care deeply about our community and keeping New Milton a good place to work and live for all age groups.
It’s important to me that we keep our High Street and support local businesses. I want to see our green spaces protected and not too much development without the infrastructure to support it. It’s important that our young can work and afford to buy and rent homes.
The Conservative Council had four years to maintain our roads to a good standard and failed. Council taxes need to be kept low but this can only be achieved through sound finances.
The Conservative Council has allowed £138 million debt to accrue, and now cant pay the bills next year without even higher taxes, more charges and service cuts. We have the second highest asylum bill in the country, and when you look at total cost this is adding £37 million a year in liabilties.

his debt has endangered our public services. Reform has specialist financial experts to sort the finances. So why vote Conservative?

If you care about our community and facilities as well as reforming our finances in Hampshire, I hope you will vote Reform.
