Jason Lewis
Jason moved to the New Forest area 28 years ago from Essex. A father of three daughters, Jason’s career is in residential and commercial property development along with providing the various sectors with solutions to address the environmental challenges of nutrient neutrality, biodiversity net gain and ecological solutions to our evolving climate. As part of Jason’s tapestry of experience, he has been a Chair of Governors and sat as a Parent Governor for a Ringwood school for eight years and assisted EFFRC in the grounds that it currently resides on in Ringwood. He was also a riparian owner of part of the Hampshire Avon for sixteen years, which operated at the highest designation of environmental protection, and has vast experience of dealing with both the Environment Agency and Natural England on the challenges that our valuable Chalk Streams face. The local issues Jason is keyed into is that of improving our precious chalk streams, our crumbling local infrastructure and the housing issues, especially affordable homes in the District
